Mission Statement

The Society of Marketing Professionals Services (SMPS) is committed to being the premier international resource for education and information about marketing professional services in built and natural environments. The purpose of the Society is to enhance the marketing ability of its members to secure profitable work for their firms.

Success of this effort will be through the association's chapters, officers, publications, educational efforts and certification program.
 
Our Utah Chapter reports a steady average membership between 70-75, with a 70-80% retention rate. You will benefit as a member from our strong membership and growth pattern.

We commit to you to be a valuable information, education and networking resource. SMPS offers monthly luncheon programs featuring key industry specialists as well as opportunities to network with others in the industry. The Chapter provides an education resource through workshops in areas best suited to our membership as identified through a membership survey. For updated information about our events, please refer to our home page.

Finally, to maximize your membership benefits, we encourage involvement in the committees organized for our Chapter. The committees include: Programs, Communications, Membership, Education, Public Relations, Special Events, Sponsorship and Facilities.
