OPPORTUNITIES FROM DRAPER TO PAYSON
SMPS Utah has taken a unique approach to our monthly programs this year. We are making an effort to reach out to all disciplines, geographic areas and owners/users. Join us for our outreach to the Wasatch Front South region to learn about potential growth, upcoming projects, planning efforts, economic development considerations and other opportunities at our April program meeting.
Speakers include:

- Russ Fotheringham, Economic Development for Utah County
- Shawn Seager, Senior Planner for Mountainland Association of Governments
Mountainland Association of Governments (MAG) is organized through an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement as an area agency designated to provide services to the cities and counties of Summit, Utah and Wasatch Counties. Responsibilities of the organization include administration of the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Utah County and of the Area Agency on Aging for the three-county region. Other services coordinated by MAG include rural transportation in Wasatch County (RPO), community planning and economic development activities for the cities and counties in the region, such as the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. |
