Introduction
WWW.SMPSUTAH.ORG is the main web site for the Utah Chapter of SMPS (SMPS). We are very sensitive to the privacy of those who access our web site. This Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect, why we collect it, how we will use it and how you can access or update it. Data Collection

In other words, WE WILL NEVER, EVER, SELL OR DISTRIBUTE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS OR OTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON except as needed to provide you with the services you request. For example, we will need to provide your credit card and other information to the credit card clearing house to be able to process your order. If you have us ship something to you, we may need to provide your address to a third party shipping company such as UPS or the US Postal Service.
For certain services, we request credit card or other payment information which we maintain in encrypted form on secure servers. SMPS’s web site is equipped with security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and unauthorized alteration of the information under our control. We cannot guarantee that the information will not be lost or misused, but we make every effort to ensure that it is secured to avoid such problems.
You can update or correct your personal information by clicking on the My Profile link from the Members Only menu option. If any problems are encountered in removing or modifying personal information or if any other request to update personal information has been submitted, you can contact us via the Contact Us page and request assistance.
